These contest rules are specific to the Official Listener Appreciation Party Invitation Giveaway Contest (the “Contest”) conducted by NRG Media, LLC d/b/a River Country 101.7 WRCV (the “Station”). Except to the extent specifically set forth below with respect to this specific contest, the Station’s general contest rules apply to this contest as well. A copy of these specific contest rules and the Station’s general contest rules are available at the Station’s studio at 1460 S. College Avenue Dixon, IL 61021, during regular business hours and on the contest page on the Station’s website at https://nrgmediadixon.com/wrcv-home/contest-rules. These rules are intended to supplement the General Contest rules, however, to the extent that the general contest rules differ from these rules, these rules will govern and control with respect to this Contest.
Contest is open to legal residents of the US living within 80 miles of the station. Winners and guests must be 18 or older.
The River Country 101.7 Listener Appreciation Party is being held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the McCormick Event Center in Rock Falls. You can only get admission to the LAP – and great entertainment by Dani Lynn Howe Band, hors d’oeuvres will be served, and the chance to win awesome door prizes by listening, entering and winning your way in!
There are 4 ways to win admission to the LAP:
Method #1: On-Air Listener Call-In Contest: Listen to River Country 101.7 Monday thru Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Tuesday, February 20, 2024 through Thursday March 21, 2024 for the cue to call.
Call 815-288-3341 or 815-626-3091 and be the appropriate # caller (the announcer will tell you each time). Winner’s name will be added to the official attendee list for themselves and a guest. Winner will be asked to give their own name and other information for identification at the door. You cannot submit someone else’s name.
There will be 39 On-Air winners each week, a total of 175 On-Air winners.
Method #2: On Location contests: Each Saturday from February 17 through March 16, 2024 River Country will be live and local on location to give out invitations to the LAP. This is the only way to win an admission on Saturday!
- You may only enter once at each location.
- Your entry form must be completed with your name, address, date of birth, phone number and email address.
- River Country 101.7 will draw from all entry forms received at that location. Non-winning entries are property of River Country 101.7 and will not be used for other admission drawings.
- Remotes will be held on February 17, 24, March 2, March 9, and March 16, 2024.

Six (6) winners will be drawn per location. Winner will be contacted via email or phone after the remote broadcast. Winner’s name will be added to the official attendee list for themselves and a guest.
There will be 30 total on-location winners.
Method #3: Text Contest: Text contest will be coordinated randomly with our phone contest running from February 20 through Thursday March 21, 2024
How to enter in the text contest? Text Keyword Party to 815-288-3341 one random name selected from each text contest.

On-Line Early Bird Contest: Contest period: Contest open from 6 a.m. February 12, 2024 through February 16, 2024 9:30 a.m. We will announce our (5) Five Early Bird online winners on Friday February 16, 2024 at 9:50 a.m.
HOW TO ENTER online: Go to station’s website. Complete the listening questions (option), and complete an entry form with your name, address, email address, phone number and date of birth.
Prizes: Five (5) Early Bird Winners will be selected from all eligible entries to win an invitation for the winner and a guest to the Listener Appreciation Party
