Oregon City Manager Darin DeHaan said he is excited about all the projects coming down the pike in Oregon.
Because of these projects, the city needs to have a Sustainability Plan. This is a plan more focused on best practices concerning development in several area.
The city is working with the company Regional and Planning out of Rockford on the writing of the plan.
The city is also meeting with business owners as well as with private citizens. DeHaan said it is important to get their input for the plan as well.
The goal is to have the plan developed and before the city council in the next couple of months.
