Lee County Administrator Jeremy England recently informed the Executive Committee during their recent meeting, about a nuisance property grant the county has.
England said they are trying to use the small amount of money as best as they can. It means they are looking at residential properties they could deal with.
England admitted they have about $75,000 in the grant and the city still needs to take its share. He also said they have been looking at nuisance commercial property instead of residential properties. England added these are more of a health hazard.
He then added that any person in the county could called about a residential property with the county deciding if they would like to create a green space or turn it back into residential.
