The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office recently joined forces with state and local law enforcement and highway safety partners in the St. Patrick’s Day enforcement campaign. During the enforcement period, which lasted from March 8th to March 18th, Sheriff’s Deputies issued 86 total citations and made 2 felony arrests which included:
3 arrests for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) of Alcohol or Drugs
1 arrest for Felony DUI
1 arrest for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance
12 arrests for Driving with No Valid/Suspended or Revoked Licenses
26 citations for Registration Violations
16 citations for No Valid Proof of Insurnace
19 citations for Speeding Violations
10 citations for Other Traffic Offenses
The St. Patrick’s Day enforcement campaign was funded by federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
