The Dixon Park District has a very busy schedule planned for this year. Following the recent District Board meeting, Executive Director Duane Long stated the park district has several grand openings on the schedule for this summer.
The board was also told about the new batting cage to be built at Reynolds Park. This is the park across the street from Vaile Park.
The district also updated their boathouse agreements for renters. This agreement has not been updated for many years. Even though the changes were mild, the district felt an update was needed.
The district also approved the new rules for bow hunting in the meadows.
