During the Sterling City Council Meeting recently, City Manager Scott Schumard spoke of the need for ARPA money to fulfill a grant for work to be done at the Sterling Theatre. Schumard said this would include new seats in the theatre.
Schumard was asked if the city had enough ARPA Funds left. He assured the council there were still ample funds to meet the need.
He also informed the council that the city actually gets more requests then they have money for. Schumard informed the council that the city has until January of 2025 to use the ARPA Funds the city has.
