Chris Stapleton is prepared to perform for Congress—the Congress of Country Music, that is.
The reigning CMA male vocalist of the year will perform two shows to benefit Marty Stuart’s Congress of Country Music in Philadelphia, Mississippi, an institution founded by the Country Music Hall of Famer to showcase his impressive collection of historic memorabilia while also benefiting the community in which he grew up.
“Chris Stapleton is one of the finest artists of our time,” Marty says. “Having Chris Stapleton perform at the Ellis Theater, in the heart of my community, is an honor and an experience we will never forget. We are grateful that Chris has generously offered his time to assist generate funds for the Congress of Country Music.
The shows will take place on Saturday, April 12, at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, March 12, at 10 a.m. CT at the Ellis Theater Box Office.
