Fans of Kenny Chesney will be pleased to learn that there will be a Sandbar area during his residency at Sphere Las Vegas this summer.
While loyal members of No Shoes Nation are undoubtedly familiar with the superstar’s Sandbar concept, there is at least one website dedicated just to educating the uninformed.
“I know this is a whole other way to play live,” Kenny says about the immersive Sin City arena. “But that doesn’t mean we don’t feed like vampires off that energy down front.”
“Everything the people in the Sandbar give us, we turn right around and put into the music,” the musician says. “There’s a unique connection there. And when we look down and see everyone singing, rocking out, or dancing, it takes us to a new level.”
Because there is no opening act, Brandi Cyrus will DJ and energize the audience for the Vegas dates.
Chesney becomes the first country singer to visit the highly anticipated venue on Thursday, May 22, in lieu of traditional shows or a tour this year.
