In a social media post, the Ogle County Sheriff provided an update on the deceased person located in the 4000 block of E IL Rt 64.
The Sheriff stated that, while the investigation is ongoing, search warrants, interviews, and an autopsy have been conducted since the initial report, leading them to conclude that there is no danger to the public.
No other information will be published at this time until toxicology and further investigation of the evidence are being conducted.
The Illinois State Police Crime Scene, the Office of the Illinois Fire Marshal, the Ogle County Coroner’s Office, and the Peoria County Medical Examiner all aided the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office.
