OREGON — Around 8:20 a.m. on March 5, deputies conducted a traffic check in the 14,000 block of East Lindenwood Road. After an investigation, officers arrested Christopher McGill, 40, of Rochelle, for driving while his license was suspended.
McGill was also cited for driving a car with a suspended registration. McGill was released on a notice to appear with an upcoming court appearance.
At 10:03 p.m. on March 5, deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of East Illinois Route 38 and South Brooklyn Road.
Deputies arrested Brandon A. Moore Jr., 19, of Rockford, for driving while his license was suspended. Moore was also issued a citation for window tint. Moore was released on a notice to appear with an upcoming court date.
On March 6, about 1 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Illinois Route 72 and Illinois Route 2. After an investigation, officers arrested Vanessa Peterson, 22, of Rockford, for driving while her license was suspended.
Peterson was also cited for driving a car with a suspended registration and no insurance.Peterson was freed with a notice to appear at the scene and a future court date.
At 9:39 p.m. on March 6, deputies performed a traffic stop on Illinois Route 251 and Edson Road. After a brief investigation, deputies arrested Ricky Kruse, 45, of Rockford, for driving while his license was suspended.
Kruse was discharged with a notice to appear. Kruse was also issued citations for speeding and an inoperable headlamp. Ogle County deputies were supported by the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office.
On March 7, about 12:25 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of North Freeport Road and West Grove Road. After an investigation, deputies arrested Kevin Schneider, 39, of Sterling, on an active Boone and McHenry County warrant.
Schneider was also charged with driving while his license was suspended. Schneider was also cited for speeding and driving an uninsured vehicle. Schneider was taken to the Ogle County Jail, where he was given a notice to appear for the citations and detained in lieu of bond for the warrants.
