Sterling and Dixon kids present STEM projects

Local children participated in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at their various schools.

Sixth-graders at Challand Middle School in Sterling presented their findings on a topic they investigated and researched.

The students used visual resources to present their findings to classmates and other guests who came to learn about the project. From chemical warfare to artificial nails, the students discussed a wide range of topics.

Dixon’s St. Anne’s pupils incorporated religion and art into their day for a STREAM event themed “Forces in Motion.” The Velocity Vanguards, Momentum Masters, and Fusion Force were divided into three groups and moved about the school, participating in STREAM-related builds and activities.

One group created race courses, another added color to paper rockets, and yet another built and controlled robots.
