Despite the fact that Rascal Flatts are currently on what is being billed as their farewell tour, the foursome will release at least one more album.
Life is a Highway: Refueled Duets will be released on June 6, containing new versions of Flatts hits performed by big-name country musicians such as Jason Aldean, Carly Pearce, Blake Shelton, Ashley Cooke, and Jordan Davis, as well as enormous pop names like Backstreet Boys and Kelly Clarkson.
It also includes the band’s current song, “I Dare You,” with the Jonas Brothers.
“It was such an honor to create this project with such incredibly talented artists,” lead singer Gary LeVox remarks. “Having your colleagues and friends perform your songs in such unique ways and impress you with the results is an indescribable feeling.”
“This album is just another attempt for us to thank our fans for the blessings they’ve given us on this crazy journey the past 25 years,” he says. “Thanks for riding along with us!”
