Sacramento, California – Following a brief dry spell this weekend, Northern California is expected to have another round of severe weather beginning Monday, according to the National Weather Service Sacramento office.
According to the National Weather Service in Sacramento, multiple storm systems will deliver considerable rain, high gusts, and heavy mountain snow through Thursday.This weekend, temperatures will rise into the mid-60s to low 70s, with Valley winds gusting up to 25 mph on Friday, according to the National Weather Service Sacramento office.
However, rain and snow are expected to resume early next week, with up to 60 inches of snow likely in the Sierra, particularly north of Interstate 80. Wind gusts could reach 55 mph in the foothills and mountains, posing a travel risk, according to the National Weather Service Sacramento office.
