Sacramento police have arrested a suspect in the February shooting death of a 20-year-old woman.
Homicide detectives tracked down and arrested Cotrino Mclin, 29, on Tuesday night, according to a Sacramento Police Department news release. Monday afternoon, officers posted on social media that they were seeking for him.
“This arrest underscores the commitment that our detectives and officers exhibit to hold those who victimize our community accountable,” police officials said.
Officers were summoned to residences on the 4000 block of Taylor Street in the Robla neighborhood of North Sacramento on February 25 when Lashae Mary Harmon was discovered dead, according to police. The 20-year-old died of at least one gunshot wound.
Mclin was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail and was being held without bail on a single charge of murder and parole violation. He is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Sacramento Superior Court.
