Superheroes such as Spiderman, Superman, Thor and Wonder Woman can now be seen throughout downtown Dixon.
Earlier this year, the city and artist Nora Reuter teamed up to do something special with the bike stands throughout downtown. Why not paint them up as superheroes.
This past week Reutter has been painting the figures on the bike stands. She said she have mostly received positive comments.
Painting the stands is a process. Reuter will work on one post and while the paint dry’s she would work on another. The hope is to be finished this week. That way they would be ready for the Petunia Fest.
The Superheroes include, Superman, Wonder Woman, Dead Pool, Wolverine, Thor, Spiderman, Iron Man and Cat Woman.
