Several thousands of people came to Page Park in Dixon Saturday for the return of the Dixon Pride Event.
One of the organizers of the annual event is Samantha Williams. Williams said it has turned into a great event for everyone and they have a packed house.
Event goers were treated to bands and over a hundred vendors. The Dixon Gay Pride event last year saw over 5,000 visitors. Williams said she was hoping to match it if not beat it.
Williams said it was a great environment at the festival and everyone seemed to be loving it.
