Sterling Lets Residents Know it is Time to Clean Up

Time to clean out your garage and basement. You can drop off all non-hazardous items to Sterling Public Works for disposal.

Clean and Green is open to residents of Sterling only and requires a current photo ID.  The event would be held from May 10 starting at 8:00am thru May 11 at 12:00 pm.

Acceptable items include – bikes, dried paint, furniture, mattresses, lawn equipment, tires (4 max per resident), appliances, used motor oil, brush, car batteries, E-waste, DVD players, computers, cable equipment, TVs, cell phones, FAX machines, printers, monitors, cables.

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED – household trash, explosives, items containing mercury, smoke detectors, spray paint, cleaning supplies, fluorescent bulbs, lawn and pool chemicals and hazardous materials.
