On Friday April 26 at approximately 10:31 p.m., Deputies from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on East Seventh Street near South Ottawa Avenue in Dixon for a speeding violation of 48 miles per hour in a posted 30 mile per hour zone.
Because of the stop, 18-year-old Kaden J. Ulve of Rock Falls has been arrested and charged with the following:
Unlawful Use or Possession of Weapons, a Class 3 Felony
Aggravated Unlawful Use or Possession of Weapons, a Class 4 Felony
Four Counts of Possession of a Firearm without a Firearm Owner’s Identification Card
Possession of Firearm Ammunition without a Firearm Owner’s Identification Card, a Class A Misdemeanor
Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (30 grams b aut less than 100 grams), Class A Misdemeanor
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Dixon Police Department.
